Fall Ruffled Tote Bag

If you are like me over time you have collect a good number of printed canvas totes, most of which you don’t use because of some corporate or outdated logo on it.    Wouldn’t  this be a great use for some of those unused totes?  It’s a great way to recycle!

A few months back we had posted a similar bag on our Facebook page from the Real Life in Pictures Blog.  Her bag had wonderful traditional fall colors on it, great for the end of summer and early fall when the nights are just starting to get cool.

But with December officially here this tote feels like another change in the seasons is upon us, with its brown and wintery blue tones.  It comes the blog Blue Robin Cottage.  If you aren’t familiar with this blog I highly recommend you put it on your watch list.  The blog owner, Sierra, is amazingly talented and shares some great craft projects.

So, are you ready to settle in and create this adorable tote?  In addition to this photo guide, you can find all the step-by-step instructions for the tote on U Create.

I especially love the burlap and fabric rosettes that are sewn right on to the top of the tote.

If you are looking for something special and handmade to give this holiday season, wouldn’t this make a great gift?

So have fun creating and I hope you’ve enjoyed!
