Pinspiration: Ornament Card

One of our team members found this card on Pinterest and it is super easy to make!

The key here is that the front is a layer on top of a card using the same color cardstock.

If you want to make a card like this, here is how to do it:

You’ll need 2 pieces of white card stock, one that is 8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″ and one that is 5-1/2″ x 4-1/4″, some scraps of patterned paper, a sentiment stamp and coordinating ink.  To cut out the ornaments, you can use punches, dies and a die-cut machine or the designer (Jenny) just used an exacto style blade and a cutting mat!

All the decorating is on the 5-1/2″ x 4-1/4″ piece of card stock.  If you are using dies, or punches, cut out your holes first, and then emboss later.  If you emboss first and then use the die templates, you may “erase” your embossing 🙂

Now you stamp your sentiment.

Next position your scraps on the back side of the 5-1/2″ x 4-1/4″.

Adhere the front piece to your card base, and you are done!  Now wasn’t that easy 🙂

Love the swirl bauble card! My question is, where can I purchase it besides E-Bay? That was the only place I could find it. Thanks for your help.
