Fun Fairy Glow Jars

With Halloween right around the corner, I thought you might enjoy these fun Fairy Glow Jars. They are very easy to make, so this is a great project to get the kids involved in.

DIY: Fairy Glow Jars

Start out with a clean, dry jar. I used a mason jar but any jar will work. You will also need some glow in the dark paint, a few small, long-handled paint brushes, inexpensive white school glue, glitter, and a piece of scratch paper (an old magazine or store ad works fine).

Tulip Glow In The Dark Paint

Squeeze out several small puddles of the glow in the dark paint onto the scratch paper.

Using the long-handled paint brush, start at the bottom and dot the paint. Be sure to make your dots different sizes as it adds some visual interest to the completed project. You can use one color or several colors – it’s up to you.

To add a final touch, place glitter on the inside of the mason jar lid. Cover the lid with white glue and sprinkle with fine glitter. Tap off any extra glitter and your jar is complete!

These jars are so perfect to include in your Halloween decorations, or even hanging in the trees for Trick-0r-Treaters to enjoy. If you are a visual person, check out the video tutorial at The Coolios. Have fun creating your own Fairy Glow Jars!

Thanks for the visit and I hope you have a very creative day.
