A Bit Of Lavender

If you’re like me, you are ready to move on from all those holiday projects to something new! I discovered this beautiful card designed by the very talented Cindy Lawrence on her bog, The Creative Closet, and knew you would enjoy it.

A Bit Of Lavender Card

Don’t you just love how Cindy brought her stamped images to life using the Copic Markers below. The depth and shading she created on the bucket image are so realistic!

This beautiful card started out with a base of ivory card stock. The sweet polka dot and floral patterned papers are from Echo Park’s Documented For the Record 2 collection and the must-have stamp set is the Power Poppy Lavender stamp set (wow, there are 13 pieces to this set). Just think of all the possibilities! The oval on the front was cut using a Spellbinders Oval Die and the edges were inked with Rangers Antique Linen ink (one of my personal faves).

inside of card

I must confess, I usually don’t give the inside of my cards the love that they deserve, so this card really inspired me to pay as much attention to the inside as I do to the outside. There’s my first New Year’s resolution! It really gives the card a finished look.

Thanks for stopping by. I hope this project leaves you with a peaceful, easy feeling.
