Saturdays With LeAnn

Happy Spring

Saturdays-with-LeAnn

Happy Saturday, my friends!  As we create we all know that our projects will benefit future generations to come. The joy of creating something artistic is a reward we receive, and what a reward it is! In the spirit of being creative, I am excited to share some beautiful ideas to maximize your fun. May you enjoy the act of creating, along with loving the end result.

Let It Rain created by Becki Adams

This great layout showcases a special memory in such a unique way. I just love the color combination, along with adding a splash of gold against the pastel colors. This is such a striking layout!

Let It Rain

Becki used this beautiful floral patterned paper and did some fussy cutting on the flowers. Using the bold background really makes the flowers pop! Becki also added some fun stitching around the edges with her sewing machine. Adding a tag and her journaling finished off her wonderful layout. A big thank you to Becki for sharing such a fun spring layout with us! Make sure to stop by Becki’s blog for a complete listing of the supplies used in creating this lovely layout.

Class of 2015 created by Shannon White

Graduation is approaching quickly, so I wanted to share a darling shaker card that was created by Shannon White. This is one of those cute cards that could be used for any age, from preschool to college, and for a boy or a girl. The best part is that it doesn’t take that long to create, even though it looks like it did.

Class of 2015

Shannon used the new Class of Die, Shining Star Sentiments stamp set, Frame in Frame Cutting Plate, Grad Cap Dies, and Little Bits- Champagne Flute Dies from Taylored Expressions. To add some sparkle to her card she used the Wedding Sequins from Taylored Expressions. To finish her card, she stamped two different sentiments in Tuxedo Black ink. Pop on over to Enchanted Ladybug Creations to see her step-by-step instructions on how she created this darling card. Congratulations to you graduates!

Happy Spring created by Cindy Lawrence

I have shared before that Spring is my favorite time of the year. This beautiful card was created with the Lilac Time stamp set, and is such a great way to welcome spring. Lilacs remind me so much of my mom and is one of my favorite Spring flowers. This is a card that is peaceful yet cheerful at the same time.

Happy Spring

Cindy created this using a 5″ x 5″ soft pink base and layers of pale blue, white, and coordinating patterned papers from Glitz Designs Bright Side. She stamped the image in Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored it with her Copic markers.

Happy Spring

For the inside of her card she kept the pastel theme going and stamped the larger lilac image in pale pink. Cindy has such great talent; this is such a stunning card!

Book Markers created by Andrea Singarella

Do you have single earrings hanging around? You thought one day you might find the other? Let your single earring be displayed! Turn this single earring into a special bookmark gift that will be treasured forever. Remember that handmade items are not just beautiful but very special. I love to give them and I love to receive them as well.

Book Markers

Jewelry designer Andrea Singarella fashioned her single earring into a beautiful book marker. A special vintage broach or broken necklace would work as well. Take it a step further and stack up some old books and add a few in each book and create a beautiful masterpiece to set on your end table. This is such a beautiful way to display your fun jewelry pieces.
