Saturdays-with-LeAnn

Welcome back, my crafty friends! I have some really great projects to share with you today. You will be inspired to scrapbook, create beautiful cards, tackle a fun sewing project, and whip up something yummy in the kitchen. Take a moment and sit back, relax, and get motivated.

Together Family created by Minna Paajanen

This gorgeous design was created by the very talented lady Minna Paajanen. I just love the gorgeous Pion Papers made in Sweden. They are so unique and are of a timeless design with a romantic and vintage feel.

Together Family

Minna used the beautiful blue-toned papers and tags from the “My Beloved Son” collection. Using three-dimensional floral embellishments really pops out her photo. This is definitely one of those simply elegant layouts. Click here and I will take you over to Pion Designs. You will find fabulous projects and have a chance to discover their gorgeous paper lines.  You’re sure to be inspired to start creating your next beautiful project.

Thanks created by Donna Mikasa

You don’t have to be a professional painter to create watercolor masterpieces! I have recently taken the plunge to using water with my markers and I love how it can make coloring so much fun, while being such a breeze. Don’t be afraid to pull out your distress markers and distress inks, and if you have watercolor pencils they are wonderful, too.

Thanks

This embossed imaged was colored by Donna Mikasa. She used some distress markers and water for her coloring. The sentiment was a die cut from gold foil cardstock and attached to a vellum band. Adding a few gold sequins finished off the card nicely. If you prefer some shine to your card, just add a Wink Of Stella pen. Now for your challenge; if you haven’t already been watercoloring, take the plunge and dive in! You will be amazed at your own talent with watercoloring.
