Sundays With Lorraine

Sundays-with-Lorraine

Hello my artsy friends, welcome to the weekend! Sundays were meant to be relaxing, so sit back and let those creative juices flow!

Sweet Dreams by Jinny Newlin

It’s layouts like this that make me wish I had been more creative with my daughter’s baby photos. At the time I was too busy figuring out motherhood. 😉  My daughter is now 19 (ouch) so needless to say, scrapbooking has come a long way. Did you notice the background paper by Dear Lizzy titled Phases Of The Moon; isn’t it just perfect for those priceless sleepy time photos?

I know you need the scoop on how Jinny created this adorable layout, so click here and I will take you over to her blog so you can take notes. There’s a lot of fine detail and layering on this beautiful layout and you’re going to love the closeup photos. Happy scrappin’!

Altered Notepad/ Giftcard Holder designed by Gloria Stengel

I truly enjoy giving pishkies (little gifts) to people “just because.” There is nothing that fills the heart more than bringing a smile to someone’s face. When I discovered this sweet notepad/giftcard holder I knew I had to share. It’s a perfect little pishky to give to someone that might need a little pick-me-up. For complete instructions click here and I will take you over to Gloria’s blog Scraps Of Life. Would you believe this notepad holder started out life as a tag?

Altered Notewpad

I’m a firm believer in the policy of Random Acts Of Kindness and I challenge you to think of just one thing that you can do to bring a smile to someone. Whether it’s giving a little handmade pishky or paying for a stranger’s cup of coffee, you just never know how important those little acts of kindness are. Have fun thinking of ways to brighten someone’s day!

With spring in the air I thought you would enjoy this beautiful canvas designed by the very talented Shari Carroll. I’m in love with the butterfly wreath that Shari created using some paper covered wire; it really adds such visual interest to this already gorgeous project.
