Tell us a little bit about yourself and how you got started crafting: Hi, my name is Jana and I am 36 year old mom of three boys and married to my very best friend for eight years! We’re from Scholen, Germany, a very small village with more cows than people in it. 😉 I have a furry baby named Oscar. I started digital scrapbooking in 2005! After nearly eight years of scrapbooking on my computer I had the big wish for real paper, but I was so afraid of cutting into it! It took me a few days to finally start. I created my first layout and was very happy about the process and how it turned out. After that day I called paper scrapbooking my new hobby. Three years later I am still in love. I have my big own studio/room in our house and I am hoarding a lot of stuff in it! Next to scrapbooking I love to sew clothes and all kinds of cute stuff. You can call me a crafter by heart! I crochet, I knit, I paint, and I love to work with wood. I also love photography. I have two jobs, one by day in a fabric store and one by night in an old peoples’ home. I love my life but as you can see it’s kinda busy!
Favorite thing to create: 9 x 12″ layouts for sure! But I also love to play with mixed media, just for me.
What do you love about this hobby? It is the best way to capture all the great memories in our life! Both the bad things and the good things. There is no wrong or right, it’s your thing, your colors, your papers, your photos! I love the endless possibilities! And of course aaaaallll the cute things you can buy! Next to all that, I get to meet the greatest people all over the world! Such nice and lovely people I never would have met without scrapbooking!!!
3 fun facts about yourself:
1. I can’t scrap/sew with shoes on!
2. I really love to sing very loud when I am driving the car and sometimes people look at me very concerned!! *haha
3. Did you hear me talk in English?! Well, that’s funny 😉
