Fussy Cutting with Fancy Free

Fussy cutting with the Fancy Free collection by @jbckadams for @scrapbookexpo using products from @paigetaylorevans

Becki-Adams-headerHey Weekly Scrapper friends! Thanks for joining me today. I’m Becki and this is Inspiration Station. Today I have a layout to share with you that I created using the Fancy Free collection designed by Paige Evans for Pink Paislee. I’ve been itching to play with this collection for so long. When it landed on my doorstep I knew I wanted to create a layout with fussy cut flowers from the #7 patterned paper. I started this layout by fussy cutting flowers from a little over half of the patterned paper. I created a cluster of flowers across the middle of my layout.

By curling the edges of the flowers I created some texture and dimension. Another way I added some texture to the cluster of flowers was to machine stitch the leaves and curl the edges of those as well.

I finished the layout with a small cluster of embellishments in the top left corner and a hand written journaling tag.

This layout is pretty simple but the cluster of flowers across the middle of the layout makes a huge impact.

Fussy cutting is a technique that I love and use very often. What is one of your favorite techniques? Do you like fussy cutting like I do?

Happy Thursday! I’ll see you next week.
