Saturdays With LeAnn

Wishing You All The Best

Saturdays-with-LeAnn

Happy Saturday, my friends!  It makes me so happy knowing you are taking sometime to relax and enjoy what you love most.  Sit back, get comfy, and enjoy some of today’s inspiration!

Take Me Away By Jan

This layout all started with a simple background and a few fabulous photos.  As you look at these photos you get that feeling of “Take Me Away” just as the title states. I love how Jan used the Tim Holtz Crosshatch frameworks die at the bottom left corner and added some embossing powder to the die cut.

Take Me Away

As scrapbookers, we know that it’s all about sharing the memories and preserving the moments.  This masterpiece certainly captures a special memory and gives joy and fulfillment. This wonderful layout also includes washi tape placed on cardstock, which was then die cut and accented with gold paint.  The embossed paper was dry brushed with a light green paint on the raised map area. What a fabulous layout created by Jan. Be sure to visit her blog, The Urban Scrapbook, whenever you are in need of some inspiration!

Hello By Lorraine Aquilina

I love using coordinating stamp and die sets.  It is such a fun and fast way to create an adorable card.  I think it really puts a fun spark into card making! Using stamps to create your backgrounds is a great way to stretch your supplies.  This card will certainly deliver a bit of sunshine to a special person.  We know there is nothing like going to the mailbox and receiving a handmade treasure. Brighten up someone’s day by sending them your handmade card!

Hello

This card is so darling I had to share the inside as well!

Wishing You All The Best By Yoonsun Hur

A feather symbolizes hope and strength, and also make a great image for a clean and simple card. The new Tickle My Fancy set is filled with wonderful, solid line images.  Yoonsun stamped the feathers on watercolor paper using Versamark embossing ink and embossed with clear embossing powder.

Denim Lace Flag By Cindy

This adorable flag is one that can be hung all year round, and not just through the month of July.  I love how Cindy used denim and lace to create this shabby chic looking flag.  The neutral colors makes it easy to match your home décor. Can you imagine taking the same pattern and making matching pillows?  How fun would this be for a Americana family room?

If you are a maraschino cherry lover, you will definitely want to make these popsicles to give refreshment on these hot summer days!  A maraschino cherry is the ultimate ice cream topper but is also a fun ingredient to use in sides, beverages, and baked goods.
