Father’s Day is just around the corner and what better way of telling your father you love him than with a handmade treasure?  Flowers don’t have to be just for moms.  Dads love and appreciate them, too! I thought I would share this fun card for dad with you today. This great card was created by Peet Roeven.

Dad's Garden

Sometimes coming up with an idea for a father can be somewhat challenging.  I know when it comes to shopping for my husband, I never know what to get.  However, I find that a handmade treasure from me is something that he will treasure for years to come.  There is nothing better than receiving a card that has taken some time and thought.  Let’s celebrate Dad this year with a handmade card!  Let me escort you over to Scrap Album where you will find all the materials you’ll need to create your own card.

Spring By Michele Kovack

Are you ready to try a new technique?  Tim Holtz® Distress Crayons are formulated to achieve vibrant coloring effects for a mixed media project.  You can color directly onto your surface and blend with water, then layer with distress inks and stains for more creative possibilities.

This stunning card created by Michele Kovack was used with the fun Distress Crayons.  Michele also used JustRite dies to create her focal point.  I love her beautiful arrangement with the flower, leaves, and ribbon, along with her beautiful color scheme.  Please let me escort you over to Thoughts of a Cardmaking Scrapbooker.  You will find so many inspired projects created by Michele Kovack.  Enjoy trying a new technique!
