Saturdays With LeAnn

Mini Wood Pallet

Saturdays-with-LeAnn

Hello my friends, and welcome back to Weekly Scrapper!  I hope that you’re enjoying a nice, relaxing day, out of the heat.  I feel honored to have the opportunity to share some projects with you today.  I hope you will be inspired to get some of your creative juices flowing.  Sit back, relax, and enjoy!

Picture Perfect By Belinda Spencer

When I share my layouts with friends and family, the first thing I want them to look at is my beautiful photo, and then take in all of the details that complement the photo.  After all, isn’t our photos why we scrapbook?  Belinda really creates a perfect balance in this lovely layout.  I love her soft touches of flowers along with the description of that darling photo.  Belinda has added texture and visual interest without overpowering the priceless photo.

Picture Perfect

Belinda altered the background by stamping, then heat setting with a fine white detail embossing powder. To create her beautiful background she applied a mist in orange and red, then spritzed with water and wiped away the excess with a paper towel.  If you are stumped and need a great place to start, you can always rely on Belinda for inspiration.  Click here and you will find all the products you will need to create this beautiful layout.

Do All Things With Love By Lynne Forsythe

When I first saw that this card was made with kraft paper, I couldn’t help but think of how many wonderful cards you could create with this paper.  I love this design created by Lynne Fosythe. Take a look at her India ink splatters and her ghost stamping; it all ties together so well with the honeycomb die and flower.

Mini Wood Pallet By Julia Stainton

I would like to share a little bit of extra motivation to create something beautiful for your home.  Are you familiar with mini wood pallets?  These are popular and fun to work with, making it easy to create many new and lovely projects.

Mini Wood Pallet

Julia painted the pallet with some translucent paint which allows the wood grain to show through.  She spread some texture paint through a pretty stencil, adding some interesting dimension. Last, she added beautiful embellishments to give it some character and enhance her pallet.  Click here and you will see this project on the Maya Road blog where you will find all the supplies you need to create your own.  Be sure and check out all the other fabulous projects created by the amazing Maya Road Design Team.
