Christmas Wishes

Today I have some exciting and fun ideas to share with you to help get you in the spirit of Christmas.  I hope these ideas will help you be motivated to jump in and work on your holiday projects.  It is such a wonderful time of the year!

Believe By Gloria Stengel

I love cards!  It is so fun to receive a beautiful Christmas card in the mail, it always brightens up my day!  Whether your cards are simple or detailed, you can have so much fun creating cards for the holidays.  Add some of your favorite embellishments, beautiful papers, and don’t forget to include a sweet sentiment. Sharing your talent with the special people in your life can be such a treasured gift!

Gloria stamped the candle image from the Sparkling Poinsettia Candle Cling Stamp Set onto white paper with black ink.  She then colored the image with Copic markers.  To give a shining, glimmery touch, she added some enamel dots to the center of each flower.  Are you thinking the same thing that I am?  This is a stamp set that will be perfect for your holiday cards and even your tags!  For a complete list of supplies, just click here and I will escort you over for a visit.  Have fun creating this beautiful card!

Christmas Wishes By Kay Miller

Do you enjoy creating your own handmade Christmas cards?  Now is the time for the holiday spirit to hit full speed!  This card will give you another idea to add to your list. Let the creating begin with the beautiful Botanical Blocks IV and Holiday Greens stamp sets. I personally feel that this has become the new go-to Christmas “floral.”  It is not actually a floral stamp set, but it is full of holiday greenery, berries, and pine cones that can be mixed and matched to your heart’s content to create beautiful cards.

‘Tis the season for endless possibilities for charming handmade cards!  I hope this festive card will inspire you to let your imagination run wild.  Kay created a work of art with the combination of her coloring and those wonderful stamps.  Let me take you over to her blog My Joyful Moments where you will find all the products you will need, along with her instructions on how to create this beautiful card.

Holiday Ornament Display By Paula Skulina

Every holiday season brings more ornaments and keepsakes.  If you are anything like me you never have enough room on the tree for all of the ornaments that get collected. This is a perfect way to display and show off the ornaments that have a special meaning.  It is also a good way to display your “nice” ornaments you don’t want to risk falling off the Christmas tree or being reached by little hands.

The ornament display will be perfect for your mantel.  You can create this using the traditional colors of Christmas, or use soft and warm colors.  You can’t go wrong with whatever colors you choose.  This is a fun project that you will be able to complete in just a couple hours.  This is a simple project to squeeze into your schedule.  Let me escort you over to Sweet Pea to receive step-by-step instructions on how to create this beautiful piece of art.  A big shout of thanks goes to Paula Skulina for sharing her wonderful talent!

Candy Cane Pie By Vera Zecevic

This will become a holiday favorite for your family!  This yummy candy cane pie can brighten up your day.  Candy Cane Pie is a seasonal dessert that only comes out during the holidays and now you can make your own version!  Add Oreo crust and white chocolate ganache on top.  The filling is a combo of cream cheese, whipped cream, instant pudding, butter, chocolate chips and crushed candy canes.
