Tis The Season To Sparkle

Saturdays-with-LeAnn

This is the most magical time of the year!  You can feel the warmth of the Christmas spirit in the air.  Since we are in the midst of the holiday season, I thought it would be fun to share a few festive projects with you today.  It is still early enough in the season to create some of your favorite Christmas projects for this year.  I hope you will enjoy the projects from some fabulous designers today.  Sit back and enjoy!

Believe By Alicia McNamara

Today I want to inspire you with this beautiful layout that was created with lots of lovely sparkly sliver, as well as using some silver-toned papers.  This beautifully elegant and eye-catching layout was created using the “Glisten Christmas Collection” by Kaisercraft.  The beauty of the silver accents really makes for a perfect layout.

Believe

This is definitely one of those layouts that has perfectly placed embellishments and fine details.  What a beautiful way to preserve a special Christmas photo!  Look at the beautiful layering that Alicia achieved.  I am so impressed with her skilled techniques that really give her layouts a pop.  This beautiful layout really jumped out at me and I knew I just had to share it with you!  Let’s pop on over to Time To Create where you will see all of the products you will need to create your own.  Thank you, Alicia, for another fabulous layout!

Joy By Peet Roeven

If you haven’t started your Christmas cards, maybe this will help you out.  This sweet card will bring a smile to anyone’s face!  I love the clean and elegant design.  Peet used the Penny Black stamp Red Sparkle along with Winter Cheer, and Bird Flower Doily dies.  These stamp and dies are going to be the perfect solution for your handmade Christmas cards.

Joy

Peet always does such an incredible job with her watercoloring skills.  You will be in awe when you see all of the different possibilities you can do just by watercoloring.  I have to warn you, once you get started with watercoloring you won’t be able to stop. There is nothing better at Christmas time than to receive a handmade card in the mail that was made with love.  Be sure to visit Peet’s blog Scrapablum to see more of her outstanding talent.  The possibilities are truly endless!

Tis The Season To Spakle By Julia Stainton

Who says you have to only use traditional colors for Christmas?  It will be so fun to step outside your comfort zone this year and create something different for your holiday Christmas cards. And what’s not there to love about reindeer?  To me it is one of those images you could use all year long!

Tis The Season To Sparkle

It’s all about a magical Christmas, and this card does send out the magic of the season. Julia kept the design simple with the deer die cut and used Rouge Glitter Paper to show off how lovely the simple die cut is.  It is layered over a lot of fun details with a great play of textures mixed together.  Click here and I will take you over to see some of the steps that Julia took to create this adorable card.   Please take a moment and check out Julia’s wonderful blog Belle Papier.  I promise you will be so happy you took the time to visit.  Have fun creating!

    Hello Leann,
I really like you mini scrapbook albums. I was wondering if you know of anyone that will be offering mini album make and take at the Schaumburg, IL scrapbook expo?
    Thanks so much,
    Judy
