Sundays With Lorraine

Sundays-with-Lorraine

Good day my crafty friends, and welcome back to Weekly Scrapper! It’s really hit home that our Stamp & Scrapboook Expo 2016 season has come to an end. I am extremely thankful that we have Weekly Scrapper to inspire each other throughout the year!

Creating An Interactive Layout By Shimelle

Creating interactive scrapbook pages are a great way to take your layouts to the next level. Many times we have multiple photos that we want to include on our layouts but struggle with the design aspect. I was so inspired by how Shimelle combined multiple photos, memories, and journaling across multiple page protectors into one, extremely creative layout. I knew I had to share this one with you! This concept is also a great way to combine both pocket page scrapbooking and traditional scrapbook layouts.

The photos themselves give way to a scrapbook page which can be glimpsed through the pocket page, and the acetate of the page itself can be lifted to disclose some hidden journaling. I highly recommend stopping by Shimelle’s blog as she shares step-by-step how this amazing layout comes together. You’re going to love it!

Dreaming Of A White Christmas By Christine Okken

I instantly fell in love with the cool, peaceful look and feel that Christine achieved by combining a beautiful water colored background, some heat embossed images from the Penguin Joy Set, and some holiday sparkle.

The beautiful snowflakes and sentiment are from the Penguin Joy Set by The Cat’s Pajamas. For the finishing touch Christine added a pretty vellum panel with the sentiment heat embossed onto a fish-tale banner, topping it off with one of the TCP CutUps Holiday Toppers.  This helps hold the vellum in place without having any adhesive show.  I’d like to thank Christine for being such a constant inspiration her fellow paper crafters.

Restaurant Style White Queso

This white queso dip is absolutely amazing! It has the perfect consistency, the perfect flavor, and can be on the table in 15 minutes. I love that it can also be prepared and served in a crock pot which is perfect for your holiday parties.
