Carousel Card

Hello my dear friends, and welcome back to Weekly Scrapper.  What a better way to round out your work week than with five amazing projects that I have gathered to share with you?  I hope today’s post will give you some great “WOW” inspiration from these fun projects (and of course a yummy dessert)!  Shall we get started?  Kick off those shoes, get comfortable, and relax, because here we go!

Dream By Tina Stepanova

You all know by now how much I love creative backgrounds, and an inked mixed media background is one of my favorites.  The combination of embossing powders, inks, and sprays really make a gorgeous background.  Some stamped images in the background really turns this into a beautiful masterpiece.  Think of all the possibilities you can do to create beautiful backgrounds!

You will find all kinds of inspiration from Tina Stepanova on her blog Dare To Create.  Click here and I will be happy to escort you over to her blog where you will find all kinds of inspiration.  The most important thing is to have fun when creating your backgrounds and layouts. Ok, now let’s get those creative minds to working!  Happy scrappin’!

Carousel Card By Kathy Clement

Did this whimsical card catch your eye as it did mine?  You can make this darling card for a very special occasion.  Choose unique papers and embellishments to design a card that is just perfect for that special person.   Kathy took it a step further and made it function as a mini folio.  This alone makes a perfect gift for any occasion.  Who wouldn’t love and appreciate receiving this beautiful card full of surprises and all the love that went into making it?!

This is just a sneak peak of what you will see inside. Remove the little brown binder clip, and you will find that the front cover is just the beginning.   You just wait, you will totally love this card and will be anxious to make your own!

Kathy created this fun tri-fold design using the Imagine Collection Kit from Authentique.  Are you dying right now to see how Kathy created this gorgeous card?  I am going to take you over to  Authentique’s blog where Kathy shows you every surprise she has created. On top of that, as an added bonus for you, Kathy also has a full step-by-step video tutorial.  You are going to love this project and I hope you will give this one a try.  You will certainly be inspired by Kathy.  Have fun creating, my crafty friends!

Quilt-Inspired Window By Allison Murray

Clear glass doesn’t coordinate with messy shelves!  Ready to hide away your mess, or just add some personality to the window panes on your cabinet?  You don’t need to get rid of that cabinet you are tired of, or even paint it to make it look different.  This is a perfect solution to give your cabinet a totally new look. I just fell in love with how covering the window panes with scrapbook paper brought so much charm to this piece of furniture.   Who would have ever thought to use scrapbook paper this way?

Quilt-Inspired Window

If you fell in love with this stunning cabinet and don’t have one in your home (but wished you did), visit one of your favorite thrift stores or a garage sale.  It is surprising what is available out there. Always remember that one person’s trash is another person’s treasure!  A little distressing, along with adding some fun scrapbooking paper to the window panes, will give you a beautiful piece of furniture for your home.  Let me escort you on over to Dream A Little Bigger where Allison will show you just how she covered her windows and made her cabinet so charming.  Can’t you just see this attractive piece in your home?

Peach Pie Cookies By Vera Zecevic

This cookie is the best of summer in a bite!  The taste of a pie but in the size of a cookie; you are going to fall in love with these scrumptious baked treats!  Peach Pie Cookies bring you the best of both worlds, the deliciousness of traditional peach pie with the convenience of a cookie – no fork required!  I promise you can’t eat just one or two!

Peach Pie Cookies

Make an extra batch and freeze them for cold winter evenings where all you want to think about is summer!  Peach Pie cookies are delicious no matter what the season is!  You can’t go wrong with this delicious recipe.  Click here and I will escort you on over to one of my favorite food blogs “Oh My Goodness Chocolate Desserts.”  I have to say that this will become one of your favorites as well.  You will love all of the wonderful desserts and recipes that Vera has to share!

I want to thank all of the fabulous designers for sharing such wonderful inspiration with us today.  Have a fabulous week ahead, and I hope to see you all back here next Saturday with more fun projects!  I always enjoy our crafty time together!
