Saturdays With LeAnn

Love Birds

Welcome back to another wonderful Saturday here on our Weekly Scrapper blog!  I have some very fun projects to share with you today.  I hope that they will inspire you to jump out of your comfort zone and create something uniquely you!

Epoxy Stickers As Focal Points By Leanne Allinson

Epoxy Stickers are so fun and can add a lot of detail to your layout.  Today Leanne shows us how to make them a focal point on your layout.  The bright colors of stickers really give a great overall effect and enhance your page.  The epoxy stickers are a new inclusion to the latest Bella Blvd Studio collections.  You will want to make sure you visit Bella Blvd to see all of their wonderful product.

Apoxy Stickers As Focal Points

Leanne created three small clusters using the epoxy stickers, placing each cluster strategically on her layout. This gave them a purpose to help ground the elements to her page and create a focal point for the eye.  Not only do they look fabulous, but they are so fun to create with.  Let me take you on over to the Bella Blvd You Tube video where you can learn more ways of using epoxy stickers.  A big thank you to Leanne for sharing her darling layout!

Love Birds By Kittie Caracciolo

These sweet love birds are perfect for any spring card or just to send a note to your own love bird!  Love birds are also a great wedding theme and will complement any wedding you may go to. This adorable card was designed by Kittie Caracciolo using an Elizabeth Craft die.  Don’t you just love how the birds pop out on this card? It is almost as if they are singing to you. This card is so sweet and elegant!

Love Birds

Kittie cut the image using white cardstock and colored the leaves and branches with her Memento markers and the birds with her Copic markers.  She also covered the birds and leaves with clear Wink of Stella and added a couple extra leaf sections to the bottom of the branch to soften and cover the bare branch.  Kittie lightly formed all the leaves using her stylus and molding pad.  Let me take you over to Kittie’s blog Kittie Kraft where you can see exactly how she put her card together.  You will be so inspired by all of her wonderful creations.

Flower Heart Wreath By Lia Griffith

Mother’s Day is approaching very quickly!   We all know how much mothers deserve recognition, especially on Mother’s Day.  If you are wondering what to do for your mother, a flower wreath that is hand created by you will warm her heart!  This is a super fast and easy and very special gift that will always be cherished.

Flower Heart Wreath

One of my favorite simple home decor accents is a crepe paper wreath.  It brings so much color and brightness to a dark, dreary door.  They look so real that you will have the urge to smell them even though they are paper.  This wreath is gorgeous and always reminds me of summertime.  Let’s pop on over to Lia Griffith’s blog to see what you will need and the instructions to make your own darling wreath.  Be sure and look at all of the other fabulous projects that Lia shares.  She is one talented lady and will give you tons of inspiration for your creations!
