Sundays With Lorraine

Hello my crafty friends, and welcome back to Weekly Scrapper. These are the last of the 12 projects that I will be teaching in the Creativity Center at the Stamp & Scrapbook Expo this season. I am so excited to see you all at the shows; four months is way too long to wait. Did you know that this is Scrapbook Expo’s 20th anniversary? We couldn’t have done it without you and to show our appreciation we have wonderful things planned this season, so come and join the fun!

Simple Stitched Layout

Do you like the visual interest that machine stitching adds to your layouts, but don’t want the hassle of breaking out the sewing machine? Then you are going to love these pre-designed layouts by Simply Stitched. They do the sewing and designing for you. What’s not to love? They have over 400 kits to choose from so there really is something for every occasion.

Click here and I’ll take you over to their site so you can check out the huge selection of kits they have to offer. We are going to attempt something that has never been done before in the Creativity Center- completing a 2-page layout in under 20 minutes. My money is on you, I think we can pull it off together! I hope to see you at the show, I’ll be waiting at the Creativity Center.

Sparkle & Sprinkle Card

You are going to love all the fun stuff that you’ll be playing with on this sweet card sponsored by Sparkle & Sprinkle. Not to worry, there will be some of their amazing glitter involved along with gold Embellishment Mousse, Gilding Flake,s and of course their wonderful Tear-ific tape.

You are sure to pick up some great tips and techniques during this Make & Take, so come join the fun. I’ll be waiting in the Creativity Center with your souvenir button.

Queen & Company Shaker Card

Queen & Company has mastered the art of creating beautiful interactive shaker elements. During this make & take I’ll be sharing just how easy it is to create the perfect shaker card. It’s all about the tools.and there are none better than Queen and Company. Be prepared to be amazed when you walk into their booth and see all the yummy eye candy!   I’ve seen their booth 1000’s of times over the years and it still stops me in my tracks. The most difficult decision you’ll have to make is which supplies you need in your life! Don’t laugh, it’s going to be tough not to want it all.

If you’re a crafter that loves everything to coordinate perfectly (and who doesn’t?) this is one booth you don’t want to miss. You are going to love how everything matches flawlessly – the toppings match the washi tape, that matches the bling, that matches the epoxy embellishments, and so on, it’s a beautiful thing! I’m really looking forward to sharing this make & take with you; who doesn’t love a fun shaker card and did I mention that the class is free? 😉

Crab and Ricotta Cannelloni

Dinner at my house would be pretty uneventful if it weren’t for the Food Network Blog. It is definitely one of my go-to food blogs. Growing up in New York, good Italian food was a given – in Southern California it’s a bit harder to find, so I’m always on the hunt for yummy Italian recipes, even if I do have to cook it myself. I hope you give Giada’s recipe a try; you’ll be glad you did.

Click here and I’ll escort you over to the Food Network Blog so you can print out the recipe. Top things off with a simple salad, some nice Italian bread, and you’re good to go. Bon appetit!

Thanks for stopping by; have a wonderfully creative week and I’ll see you next Sunday. Hugs to all and be sure to check out our show schedule. With 19 shows all over the country, I’m thinking there’s an amazing weekend waiting for you and your creative peeps at the Stamp & Scrapbook Expo!

Lorraine, if you want incredible Italian food, go to La Bettola in Yorba Linda, a little place that is amazing! You won’t be sorry!!
