Sundays With Lorraine

Hello, my crafty friends, and welcome back to Weekly Scrapper! I hope your new year is off to a great start. The beginning of the new year is beyond exciting for me as I not only have the privilege of sharing inspiration through Weekly Scraper, but it also means the beginning of a new season with Stamp & Scrapbook Expo.  I host the Creativity Center at the Stamp & Scrapbook Expos where I teach make & takes throughout the show. The best part is that each different project is sponsored by one of our amazing exhibitors, so once you fall in love with the products, you can go right to their booth and purchase your new treasures. How often do you get to play with the toys before you buy them? It’s a wonderful thing!

Art Anthology

Let’s start off with Art Anthology. They offer a full line of mixed media mediums that are amazing to work with. On this project, we’ll be playing with Art Anthology’s Coloration sprays (which come in 24 fabulous colors) along with dimensional paints, as well as several other fun tools that for now I must keep a surprise. I know you’re going to love the end result!

Art Anthology card

If you’re the artsy type and aren’t afraid of inky fingers this is one make & take you don’t want to miss. I must warn you, once you’ve experience Art Anthology’s products there is no going back. They will be a need in your very creative life. 😉 If by chance you miss making the card with me in the Creativity Center – not to worry because rumor has it that Stayce will be doing a free make & take in their booth.

Rubbernecker Stamps

This project is sponsored by Rubbernecker Stamps. We’ll be playing with their new layered Daisy stamp along with Ken Oliver’s amazing Colorburst & Liquid Metals – the two combined create magic! Rubbernecker Stamps was one of the first booths on our show floor to sell the Colorburst Powders & Liquid Metals so I would say they’re the resident experts on our show floor, You can usually find Dave or Pat giving demos throughout the show – it will blow your mind when you see how versatile these coloring mediums are and how perfectly they work with their unique watercolor stamps.

I hope to see you for this make & take; it makes me smile when I see everyone’s faces light up when they discover the magic of combining Colorburst, Liquid Metals, and Rubbernecker Stamps.

Stamp On It Project

We will be creating this adorable card showcasing Stamp On It’s  Art Acetates sheets and border/corner stickers.  The Art Acetate sheets are high-quality prints on heatable, embossable acetate that come in hundreds of different designs. The most difficult decision you’ll have to make is how many do you need in your life! They are so beautiful it’s hard not to buy them all.The corner stickers are vinyl stickers that can be used on various surfaces including paper, metal, plastic, glass, candles, and more, and are the perfect way to add a professional look to your handmade projects. You’ll be happy to know that they come in several different colors to accommodate just about any style or design.

Thinking of You Card by Stamp On It

Well, not to worry thanks to Judy, hostess of the amazing food blog Savoring Today, you can have this romantic dinner in the comfort of your own home and would you believe the entire meal takes about 30 minutes?

Since I’m sharing all kinds of secrets and sneak peeks today, I’ll share my plan for Valentine’s Day! Since this recipe is so easy and takes only about 30 minutes, why not let your Hunny be the hero by cooking you dinner on this special day? 😉 I think you deserve a night off. All you have to do is click here and I’ll take you over to Savoring Today so you can print out the recipe and hand it over to someone to make for you!

Well, I hope you’ve enjoyed the first sneak peek of the Creativity Center for 2017. I have 12 projects to share, so stay tuned as I’ll be sharing three more next Sunday. I look forward to meeting you in person at any of our shows. We currently have 19 shows scheduled for this season, so it’s time to start planning that special weekend with your creative peeps.
