We love bringing you our “Tips of the Day”! They are designed to jump start your creativity and give you a variety of ways to express your creativity. Today we are bringing your our very own Lorraine from Stamp & Scrapbook Expo as she demonstrates how to take a simple office tag and take it up a (big!) notch by applying gesso. By using gesso with a watercolor medium you’ll be able to take those inexpensive tags and create a lovely work of art!

Thanks, Lorraine… This tip will be very helpful when I am doing tags. I have some pretty sturdy tags but, with the white gesso background, I think the colors will be truer.
