Oh Baby! Card + FREE cut file

*Tammy-header-800Hello friends! I was invited to a baby shower this past weekend for a friend who is expecting her first baby (a boy!), and I had fun making a simple blue and yellow card to accompany her gift.

oh-baby-detailI cut a card front from light blue cardstock using my Silhouette and backed the die cut sentiment with patterned paper. I added a block of blue gingham patterned paper under the sentiment and tied yellow ribbon around the middle. A little bit of stitching and some star stickers add finishing touches.

Here’s the cut file if you’d like to add this one to your library: Oh Baby cut file (note: you may want to keep the inside pieces for the “o” so you can replace them on the background paper.)

Oh Baby sketchLink to your own take on this week’s sketch in the comments, or if you’d like to add your creation to our Weekly Scrapper flickr page, you’ll find it here: Weekly Scrapper Flickr

Thanks for stopping by! See you next week. 🙂

P.S. Is there a sentiment you’d like to see? Comment and let me know!

I am kinda new to card making and don’t have an app or software to open the cut file with. Can you tell me what kind of app/software I would need? Please!

Hi Carol. To use the cutting files for actual cutting, you would need am electronic cutting machine such as a Silhouette. Another option is to use the image as a sketch for the basis of a card you are making.
