Love You

Saturdays-with-LeAnn

Welcome to another wonderful Saturday here on the Weekly Scrapper blog. I have some real treasures to share with you today. I hope that these will inspire you to jump out of that chair and get started making some of these adorable projects on this fabulous weekend!

Together Card by Aida Haron

I want to share a very gorgeous card created with burlap. Who would have ever thought that burlap could look so stunning on a card? This is a perfect example of shabby chic with simple elegance. I fell in love with every little detail about this card – the soft colors, the stunning flowers, and the wonderful dimension. How fun to mix all varieties of die cuts! This inspiring card was found on the Sizzix blog created by Aida Haron. I can only imagine how this beautiful card will bring a little sunshine to brighten anyone’s day.

Love You Card by Michele Kovack

Everyone loves a beautiful handmade card. They are so much fun to make and such a joy to receive. Can you just imagine giving this to someone you love for Valentine’s Day? I think it makes a wonderful statement in showing your love to that special person. I just love the warm fuzzy feeling that I get inside this time of year. It is so fun to see a big smile on someone’s face as you give them your treasured handmade card.

Love You

This darling card is made with straws for the main backdrop of the card. Adding some beautiful lace really gives it that feminine touch. It just wouldn’t be a Valentines card without adding a heart. I would like to thank Michele Kovack for sharing this sweet card with us. What a great inspiration!  Visit Thoughts Of A Cardmaking Scrapbooker blog; you will see many more outstanding projects.

Enjoy by Mona Pendleton

On a winter day what could be more fun then to go out and ice skate? This beautiful layout brings back so many wonderful childhood memories for me. Mona Pendleton really has an eye for detail. With her perfectly placed layers using flower blossoms, gears, and doilies, she really pulls this layout together so beautifully. Don’t you just love her textured background?

To add a little bit more detail she embellished her layout adding a fun pair of skates created with a Sizzix die. To give them the old rustic look she painted, distressed, and added laces to her skates. Be sure to visit Cupcakes Creations for more wonderful inspiration from Mona Pendleton.

Decorated Heirloom Box by Delaina Burns

Do you ever wonder what to do with all those pictures that are just waiting to be scrapbooked?  My favorite way of storing them is putting them in decorative boxes. How beautiful these are to set out in your home, and at the same time you have easy access to those photos.

Heirloom Box

Another beauty of this box is to create a photo album that fits inside, then give as a gift. Who wouldn’t love to receive a gift like this? What a great way to use up some of your product stash! I love metal hardware, and what an excellent idea to display your best loved pieces. This beautiful box was created by Delaina Burns. Visit her blog at Delaina’s Embellished Memories for her video tutorial. You will also see her wonderful talent and enjoy many more of her outstanding projects.

 Mini Chocolate Raspberry Brownie Trifles

I don’t know about you, but my mouth is watering right now just looking at this fabulous dessert. These yummy trifles are made with Ghirardelli chocolate baking chips. It can’t get any better than this!  Serve these at a party or even dessert for your family and I guarantee they will be impressed! I highly recommend paying a visit to the Ghirardelli blog; you are sure to leave ready to break out your baking supplies and create some amazing desserts.
