Seize The Cupcake

Wow these look good enough to eat! I just love all the sweet details of this darling card. This was a cupcake challenge by Cupcake Inspirations created by Shannon White. I discovered this sweet card on the Enchanted Ladybug Creations blog. I recommend visiting Shannon’s blog. You will truly be inspired.

I love the soft colors that were used along with the different patterns of each cupcake. This card really draws your eyes right to those cupcakes.

Shannon started by stamping Build a Treat Cupcakes with Memento Tuxedo Black. She did a small amount of paper piecing and added a touch of shading with her Copics. Using Build a Treat Tops & Bottoms Dies, she then cut them out and popped them up with foam tape. The background layers and mats were created with Choice Butter Cream Cardstock, Lavender Cardstock, Seafoam & Chartreuse cardstock, and Echo Park’s Everyday Eclectic 6 x 6 paper pad.

To finish it up, she added a touch of distressing with Frost White ink, and stamped a fun sentiment from Build A Treat with Memento Tuxedo Black ink. The last step was to add a cute little flower created with Flower Box Sprigs & Flowers Dies, adding a little bling, and a polka dot ribbon.
