Do you seem to collect Tim Holtz Distress Inks? I love each and every color that is available and I know I’m not alone. Michelle achieved this beautiful, watercolor look by blending several different Distress Inks through the Hero Arts Leaf and Flourish stencil.

Would you believe that this artsy card was made from a bit of clean up paper, several gelli prints left over from another project, a few stamp sets, and a little fussy cutting.
What a great way to use up your experimental gelli prints, scraps of this and that, and even your clean up paper. (You know you’re a real artsy paper crafter when you’re using your clean up paper! But why not – it’s too pretty to toss in the trash.) My hope for you is to be fearless when it comes to your creativity, be open to trying new techniques, but most important, have fun with your art.
This project is definitely on my Crafting Bucket List. Talk about a total transformation from boring to holy cow beautiful! It does involve breaking out a few power tools but not to worry, the end result is worth it. Would you believe that these gorgeous vintage looking tables started out as a garage sale bargain ($25 for the pair). A real trash to treasure story!
