Latest & Greatest: Stamping with Hampton Art

Hey everyone! Roree here with today’s Make It! Monday post.

Our next show is in Sacramento, CA on October 20th & 21st. Stamp & Scrapbook Expo will be teaching three “Latest & Greatest” workshops at this show: Card Making, Cool Tools, and Stamping. Today I am going to be creating with new products from our Latest & Greatest: Stamping class: Hampton Art‘s Seasonal Stamp & Die Sets.

Today I will be working with the Gratitude Pumpkins Stamp & Die Set:

Note: Stamp & Die Set designs may vary at each show location.

I love that this stamp set comes with coordinating dies. I love to create dimension on my cards, so creating stamped images that can be popped up is an added bonus for me!

With the set, I created this card:

First, I stamped and colored the pumpkin and leaf images with colored pencils.

Then, I die cut the images with my manual die-cutting machine.

I decorated my card front with patterned paper and stickers from Photo Play Paper‘s Autumn Day collection to highlight my stamped pumpkin image.

This Latest & Greatest: Stamping workshop featuring Hampton Art‘s Seasonal Stamp & Die Sets will also be taught at our upcoming show in Ontario. We would love to see you there!

I hope you enjoyed today’s Make It! Monday project. Thanks so much for stopping by!

Latest & Greatest: Stamping with Echo Park Paper Co.

Hey everyone! Roree here with today’s Make It! Monday post.

Our next show is this week in Schaumburg, IL on August 18th-19th. Stamp & Scrapbook Expo will be teaching three “Latest & Greatest” workshops at this show: Card Making, Cool Tools, and Stamping. We have lots of great products from some awesome manufacturers in these classes, and today I am going to be working with products from our Stamping workshop: Echo Park Paper Co.‘s A2 Background Stamp.

I received the Constellation Love Background stamp:

The stamp size is 4 1/2 x 5 3/4″, so the image will cover your entire A2 card if you want it to and it is super adorable!

With it, I created this card:

I stamped the background on paper from Echo Park’s Wedding Bliss collection (a product from our Latest & Greatest: Card Making workshop), and colored the heart, diamond, and arrow images with a slightly darker pink colored pencil to highlight them.

I just love this stamp! I can see using it on so many different type of projects.

This Latest & Greatest: Card Making workshop featuring Echo Park Paper Co.’s A2 Background Stamp will be ending in Schaumburg. We will have a whole new lineup of products for all of our classes starting in Marlborough, MA on September 8th & 9th.

I hope you enjoyed today’s Make It! Monday project. Thanks so much for stopping by!

Wonderful Mother created by Lucy Abrams

This beautiful card is such a great way to show love to that special mom in your life; whether it be a mom, daughter, granddaughter, or a special friend. Cards are such a easy way to bring some sunshine to a loved one’s day.

Wonderful Mother

This card was made using the fun images called Just Darling from Simon Says Stamp! Using Gansai Tambi watercolors and mixing together a red shade with some pearly white created this beautiful pink color. Adding a few sequins and some rhinestones really popped out the flower, giving it a little sparkle! I don’t want to forget to mention the cute binding with stitching down the side. Let’s go over to Lucy’s Cards to see more of Lucy’s wonderful projects.

Life Is Beautiful created by Kathy Roney

How better said than “Life is Beautiful.” Spring is my favorite time of the year and it is a time that I reflect on the beauty of the world and how wonderful life is. This card certainly popped out at me and I fell in love with it. I love the color combination in this card and the coloring is so outstanding.

Life Is Beautiful

Kathy used the Botanical Rose Bouquet set for the main image along with the Butterfly Medley stamp set, both from Heartfelt Creations. She colored them with colored pencils and mineral spirits. What a wonderful combination to match the frame with her colored image. She added her sentiment, a teal colored seam binding bow, and button to finish off her gorgeous card. Take a moment and visit Joyfully Made Designs. You will be filled with so much inspiration; it is definitely worth your time.
