Altenew Crafty Friends Blog Hop Day 1 + Giveaway

Hey everyone! Roree here and today I have a special treat for you…

Welcome to stop #19 on the first day of Altenew’s Crafty Friends Blog Hop! If you made your way from Alex Syberia‘s awesome blog, you are in the right place. If not, you can start from the beginning at the Altenew Card blog.

This blog hop was started to celebrate the friendships formed through our mutual love of everything crafty. I am very lucky to work in this amazing industry with many of my crafty friends, most of all… the Stamp & Scrapbook Expo team. Here are just a few of us:

Creativation 2018 Recap by Becki Adams for @scrapbookexpo #ssbe2018 #ssbeblog #creativation

They really help keep me crafty and inspired each and every day!

For those of you that don’t know me, I absolutely love to make cards and I love to make flowers. So when I was deciding what to create for today’s blog hop, the Layered Floral Elements Die Set was at the top of my list. With it, I created this floral card:

I cut out my flowers using several bright shades of cardstock, layered the die cuts over a piece of patterned paper from Keep It Simple‘s Crop Kit Collection Pack, and added fun little details like brads and knotted embroidery thread for the flower centers.

I finished the card with a sweet sentiment from the Dainty Swiss Dots Stamp Set.

Now on to the good stuff!
