Events & Crops!

For those who love to scrapbook, a crop party is a fun event to take part in.  It is a great time to gather with friends and other scrapbooking enthusiasts, to share creative ideas, learn new techniques and get refocused on your projects.  You don’t have to be a scrapbooker to enjoy this crop, we have many guests who are card makers and stampers as well!

Whether it be scrapbooking, card making, stamping or paper crafting in general you won’t want to miss this crop. You will enjoy gathering with your friends or making new friends who are as crazy over the craft as you are.

Each cropper who attends will have an approximate 4’ x 24” space to create. Each table is set for a max seating of four people. This will give everyone the added space they need to complete their projects. Seating is first come first serve!

The crop area is quiet during the day. Many guests are shopping the showroom floor and attending workshops, so you can come and go as you please and create as you wish. During the evening hours we will be hosting a fun filled “Themed” party with prizes, contests and giveaways to keep you energized throughout the evening. Vendors will also join in the fun as they advertise their products and run exciting specials. Each location varies in crop themes, so be sure to check out the appropriate show location so you can create your table centerpiece or dress for the occasion!

Admission to shop the show room floor is sold separately.

Mega Make & Take Extravaganza ~ 3pm to Midnight

This MEGA event is sure to be one of your favorite events at the StMEGA Make & Take Extravaganzaamp & Scrapbook EXPO!  Experience EXCLUSIVE Make & Take projects from top companies and learn about new products and new techniques that you can ONLY get at this MEGA event.  Your experience will begin when you arrive and receive your package of MEGA Make & Take projects.  Each presenter will have instructions included with each project for you to follow.  What a way to enjoy an evening of Make & Takes with your friends and walk away with some exclusive projects and great techniques.  These projects will only be presented at the MEGA event and not on the show floor.  PLUS... you will enjoy choosing an additional $20.00 retail value coordinated kit of product to create your own unique projects at this Extravaganza!

  • Doors open to the Crop area starting at 3pm.
  • Make & Take projects will begin at 5pm.

Supplies Needed: Variety of adhesives such as glue dots, liquid adhesive, tape runner and foam pop dots.  Paper trimmer, scissors, corner rounder, paper piercer, stapler, hole punch, acrylic block, distressing ink pad, baby wipes and journaling pen.

Friday 80's Flashback ~ 8am to Midnightimg1 Do you remember the ''Totally Awesome'' 80’s? Grab your Boom Box and all of your ''Preppie'' friends and ''Break Dance'' down to this Totally 80’s crop Event! Were you a Pac Man nut, Gnarly Dude, or maybe you were a Valley Girl in your Leg Warmers as we want to relive the 80’s. ''Fer Shur'' we will have a Rubix Cube contest along with 80’s trivia! Dance Dance Dance to the music of Madonna, Cyndi Lauper and Michael Jackson for your chance to be the next Scrapbook EXPO MTV Star!
Saturday Slumber Party Crop ~ 8am to MidnightSlumber Party Crop Theme Grab comfy pajamas, fuzzy slippers, a favorite blanket and, of course, all of your cropping supplies and snuggle up with the Stamp & Scrapbook Expo crop crew for a night of fun, prizes, and comfort! We want you to relax and enjoy your friends and family as we crop the night away. Contests for the night will include ''Scrapbook Robe Fashion Show,'' ''Favorite Slipper Contest,'' and ''Slumber Party Story Contest'' where you will share a SECRET with the rest of your Slumber Party.

Each guest who purchases a crop ticket will have the opportunity to select one Bonus Kit with a retail value of $20 for FREE from a variety of leading manufactures. Quantities are limited and may sell out at anytime without notice.  Due to shipping, two weeks prior to the show you will no longer have a choice of bonus kit, we will provide you with a few kit choices at the show.

When attending the crop, you will need to bring supplies that will keep you busy throughout the day.  Many guests will bring their rolling storage totes filled with paper, scissors, trimmer, adhesive, embellishments, albums, pens, ink, stamps…you name it!   Remember, some crops are 16 hours, so bring whatever will keep you busy.

Scrapbook EXPO has a Tool Shed area full of some of the best tools in the industry today. No Need to bring those large tools that take up space in your bags and on your tables. We have them in our Scrapbook EXPO Tool Shed.

Many of our guests attend multiple crops throughout the weekend.  If you have a reserved table you may leave your items at your table if you are reserving it for the next day.  For those guests who do not have a reserved table, but are planning to attend the crop the next day…you are more than welcome to leave your items overnight in a designated area at the crop.  Please be sure to ask our crop host where you may store your items overnight prior to leaving the crop.  Please be aware that anything left overnight will be left at your own risk.

We love our young scrappers!  Children are welcome at our crops, however all children under 18 must be accompanied with an adult and must purchase a crop ticket for the event.

We try to have a variety of all types of music at our crop events.  Guests who wish to bring and listen to their own music are welcome to do so, however you will need to have headphones so the croppers around you can enjoy the music provided by the EXPO.

Concessions will be available throughout the day and into the evening at each of our show locations. Times vary during the evening hours. Your Crop Host will notify attendees when concessions are about to close, so you can be sure to stock up on any last minute drinks or snacks.

Please note that the facility does not allow outside food.  Concealed snack food is okay, but please no rolling coolers.  Pizza delivery is also discouraged.

Controlling the temperature in a large hall can sometimes be difficult.  We do suggest that you bring a sweater or sweatshirt to make your stay more comfortable.

Want to operate your die cut machines, photo printers, lights and laptop computers?  We can arrange for the Venue Electrician to run power to your crop table.  (Price varies per location.)  You must pre-register online or by phone to take advantage of this opportunity.  You will be provided with a Power Strip to plug your devices into.  Please note that Battery Packs are not allowed.  Also note Wall Outlets are not available for public use.  There will be a Cell Phone Charging Area for your convenience.  If you have any questions about Electricity don’t hesitate to contact our office or speak with the staff at the show.

Do you have a group of scrapbooking friends?  Reserve a table for your group online.  Here are two options for registering.

  • When ordering online you can select “Reserve a Table for 4” This option will include Four Crop Tickets, Four Crop Kits of your Choice and the $20 Reserved Table Fee for one flat rate.  This option does not include admission to the show room floor.
  • Reserved tables will accommodate four people which equates to approximately 24” x 4’ for each person.  Some locations do vary.  A tent card in your name will be placed on your table.
  • You may add more guests to your table; however the table size will not increase. If you choose to add more guests you will need to purchase an individual crop ticket/s along with the table Reserved Table for 4. Most tables will accommodate up to six people, however two guests will have to sit at the ends where the tables join.  Please be sure to let us know so we can add chairs to your table.
  • Email your choice of crop kits to changes@scrapbookexpo.com.  Deadline for choices are two weeks prior to the show.

Multiple Tables:  If you would like to have your reserved table next to another reserved table, please be sure to send an e-mail to changes@scrapbookexpo.com  Please indicate that you have a reserved table and that you would like your table next to another guests reserved table.  We will need your order number and the guests order number for us to initiate your request.

Moving Tables: Please do not move crop tables as they are set according to fire code.  We ask that you please see the crop host or event manager if you have any concerns with your table arrangements.
