In this workshop, you will use our two-piece moon stencil to create spotlights and assorted backgrounds to create visual texture. We will demonstrate and teach you the basic technique, and then you will be given time to create your 8 favorite cards! Your kit will include 12 pre-printed black & white card fronts suitable for a variety of occasions. You will create the spotlights and add visual texture with a background stencil. (Stencil designs vary and may be different than what is shown.) Coloring is optional, but recommended, and can be done with markers or colored pencils. You may need to finish coloring and assembly after class. Because everyone will be using different colors of ink, accent layers will not be provided in your kit. Please Note: Students must be prepared to sit with and share stencils with someone else.

(PLEASE NOTE: Inks and blending brushes will be provided for use in class. If you choose to bring your own dye or distress inks, please bring one ink shade per color family.)

Calling all watercolor and mixed media enthusiasts! Don't miss this incredibly fun class filled with techniques and tips on how to make amazing cards with pigment powders in no time. We will be teaching you six techniques in this fun, fast-paced class. This is a mixed media technique class. Prior experience is not necessary. You will walk away with amazing techniques, tips, and tricks to make six amazing cards and everything you need will be provided in class. Join us and fall in love with stamping and mixed media!

Using approximately 5 gross packs of 2mm Austria Illumination crystals, we are going to jewel a pen from top to bottom. If you take into account that purchasing 5 gross packs of color crystals by itself would cost $42.75, this class is priced to take and learn. We ask that you come to class at least 10 minutes prior to the start of class to pick the color of crystals you wish to use. You will have a choice of three colors. Everyone will be able to take their bottle of glue home (along with the other little "tools") to either finish or start another pen project. You will also receive two pen refills. Only those who take the class will have the opportunity to purchase additional pen patterns to use at a later time. When complete, we dare you not to say this is your favorite pen!

Come learn about everything BetterPress! This new technology will have you rethinking the way you create cards. BetterPress Letterpress System by Spellbinders is an innovative way to achieve the elegant look of the letterpress technique without all the mess. Whether you are new to to this system or experienced, this class will guide you through everything you need to know about the BetterPress. Leaving with a minimum of six A2-size cards, you will be hands on experimenting with BetterPress paper, non BetterPress paper, inks, sprays, watercolor techniques, and multi-step pressing, with a little more added in. So that every student is hands on for the entire class time, you will work with your own plates and press (provided for in-class use only), and one machine will be shared between two people.

We are going teach how to make a single die cut the focus of your card. And we will use products you probably already have at home! We will start by using watercolor crayons on watercolor paper to make incredible looking backgrounds. We will then use single die cuts to make extraordinary focal points placed on elegant 6 x 6" card fronts. All cards are then adorned with Austria Illumination crystals. No two cards will be alike. You will be amazed at the ease of putting these cards together, with such a rich look to them. You are truly going to love this process!

Using an upscale classic Christmas paper line while incorporating some sparkle paper and textured cardstock, this four-page layout will come to life! Regardless of the time of year, everyone needs beautiful and classic Christmas pages, and these do not disappoint! This four-page layout will be adorned with metal pieces and Austria Illumination Crystals which ultimately give the feel of a Hallmark Christmas.

Things that are far away appear lighter, smaller, and less distinct. Learn to create depth and perspective using this principle with stamped color! You will stamp on coated cardstock using various colors to create your scene. You will enhance your card by "painting" with ink using our blending ovals. Minimal masking will be used. This is a technique-laden class!

No supplies are needed in this beginning watercolor class! We bring it all for you so you can paint, play, and discover how fun watercoloring can be. You will create with a variety of different watercolor-related products (paint, markers, pencils) to try out and decide which water-based option is the one you love best. We will talk about watercolor paper, brushes, ink selection, and other basics to ensure great results.
