Hello and happy Friday! I hope you have had a wonderful week! This week I am here to inspire card makers AND try to convert papercrafters who don’t already make cards into becoming card makers. Doesn’t that sound like fun?
As a scrapbooker, you must be creative. You also likely have lots of scraps from creating layouts, so why not use those scraps to create cards. I think being a cardmaker and a scrapbooker is a perfect match!
In hopes of inspiring you, I am going to share cards that have been published in an issue of Scrapbook & Cards Today magazine. These cards were created by the design team as well as from submissions to the magazine. Ready … Set … Let’s get inspired!

Hello I am new to paper crafting and card making. I can use all the help i can get. My student’s voted to make cards and other crafts to sale to help other needy family’s and to help fight and bring awareness to hunger and bullying. Many of my student’s have either gone hungry, been bullied, or homeless. So winning some much needed inspiration would be helpful.

I like to take a break from my scrapbooking and make cards. You can create a card and have a finished product very quickly. it allows me to use some of my papers.

I just starting teaching card maker beginner. I would love to have new ideas and your books to share with me class.
Among my best friends, I am so lucky to have more than one, are my beautiful daughter Christy and long time friend Laurie both of which are my crafting buddies. Christy has just given us a beautiful baby girl and Laurie seems to be going through an (I’m so over whelmed) moment. Any inspiration I can provide for my friend and daughter (not to mention myself) would be truly a blessing!

Love these magazines. I am not a card maker (made very few) bit what ideas there are for cards I come up with an idea for a page layout.
Very few card magazines in the US…I have to get subscriptions all the way from the UK….would LOVE to get these magazines as the measurements, themes, etc would be a little more pertinent (i.e. Mom vs Mum, no Noon Tea designs, etc.)! lol.

I love scrapbooking and I make my own Christmas cards out of old Christmas cards I’ve received over the years. I get cardstock and use stamps, glitter glue even emboss some. I love the layout of card ideas here. And would love to win a gift certificate
