Are you ready to dive into the world of mixed media? Then come join us and learn how to create a junk journal using lots of techniques and textiles! We will be working with paper, canvas, burlap, colored sprays, stamps and much more to create a fun junk journal to keep your bits and pieces in. We will also customize a canvas envelope–perfect for storing your junk journal.

What products will be highlighted: You will learn how to use colored sprays, stencils and work with textiles such as canvas and burlap.

What will I learn or complete: A completed junk journal and custom canvas envelope for storing your journal. (The project shown is a good representation of the project you will create. A variety of elements will be available in class, giving you the opportunity to customize your journal to make it truly your own.)

What special supplies are needed to finish this project at home: None.

What techniques will I learn or use: You will learn how to use colored sprays with various textiles, three-dimensional crafting, and stenciling.

Will I complete this project in class: Work at home will be needed to finish projects.
