Stamp & Scrapbook EXPO (“SSBE,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use and share it, and the choices you have, when you visit our websites (scrapbookexpo.com and shop.scrapbookexpo.com, together the “Sites”), purchase tickets or merchandise, register for a show, workshop, or Make & Take, enter a door prize drawing, sign up as an exhibitor, join our email list, or attend one of our live, in-person events (each a “Show”).

By using our Sites or attending a Show, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use our Sites or attend our Shows.

1. Information We Collect

We collect information in the following ways:

Information you give us directly, such as when you:

  • Purchase tickets, merchandise, or Make & Take kits through shop.scrapbookexpo.com or another registration link we provide — typically your name, billing and shipping address, email address, phone number, and payment card details;
  • Join a Wishlist, pre-registration list, or newsletter — your email address and, where asked, your location/show preferences;
  • Enter a door prize drawing at a Show — your name, phone number, email address, and how you heard about us;
  • Apply or register as an exhibitor, request tables/chairs, or submit on-site staff contact information — your name, business name, phone number, and email address;
  • Contact our Guest Services, Exhibitor Services, or Store team, or otherwise correspond with us by phone, email, or web form.

Information collected automatically when you use our Sites, such as your IP address, browser type, device information, pages viewed, referring/exit pages, and approximate location, using cookies and similar technologies (see Section 4, “Cookies and Analytics,” below).

Payment information. When you make a purchase, your payment card details are entered directly into, and processed by, our payment processor. We do not store your full card number on our servers.

2. Photography and Video at Our Events

By attending or participating in a Stamp & Scrapbook EXPO show, workshop, or other public event, you acknowledge and agree that you may be photographed, filmed, or otherwise recorded by SSBE staff or our authorized photographers and videographers, and that your image, likeness, and voice may be used, without compensation, in our advertising, marketing, promotional materials, social media, website, newsletters, and print publications. This may include photos or video taken at check-in, on the show floor, at workshops, at Make & Take stations, at door prize drawings, and at other Show activities.

If you prefer not to be photographed or filmed, please let our on-site staff know at check-in or when approached by a photographer, and we will make reasonable efforts to accommodate your request. We cannot, however, guarantee that you will not appear incidentally in wide, crowd, or venue shots, and we cannot remove content that has already been published.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Process ticket, merchandise, and Make & Take orders, and manage your account, Wishlist, and order history;
  • Register and check you in for Shows, workshops, and drawings, and administer door prize giveaways;
  • Communicate with you about your order, an upcoming Show, schedule or venue changes, or a request you’ve made;
  • Send you newsletters and promotional emails about upcoming Shows, exhibitors, and offers, where you have signed up to receive them, and related crafting offers from promotional partners you’ve opted into;
  • Operate, maintain, and improve our Sites, and understand how visitors use them;
  • Communicate with and coordinate exhibitors and vendors;
  • Prevent fraud, enforce our policies, and comply with legal obligations.

4. Cookies and Analytics

Our Sites use cookies and similar technologies to keep your shopping cart and account session working, remember your preferences, and understand site traffic. We use Google Analytics to collect aggregated, anonymized-where-possible statistics about how visitors use our Sites (pages viewed, traffic sources, device type, and similar), and the Meta (Facebook) Pixel to measure the performance of our Facebook/Instagram advertising and to show you relevant ads for upcoming Shows. Google’s and Meta’s use of this data is governed by Google’s Privacy Policy and Meta’s Privacy Policy, respectively.

You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings; blocking cookies may affect features like your shopping cart or saved login.

5. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with:

  • Service providers who perform services on our behalf, such as our payment processor, our email/newsletter service provider, our SMS/notification provider (used, for example, for door-prize winner notifications), our web hosting provider, Google Analytics, and Meta (Facebook/Instagram) for advertising;
  • Exhibitors and event partners, only where you’ve specifically opted in (for example, checking a box to receive offers from a promotional partner);
  • Legal and safety purposes — to comply with a subpoena, court order, or other legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of SSBE, our guests, or others; and
  • In connection with a business transfer, such as a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.

6. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as needed to fulfill the purposes described in this Policy — for example, to service your order, honor your Wishlist, administer a door prize drawing, or maintain business records — and as required to comply with our legal and tax obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

7. Your Choices and Rights

Marketing emails. You can unsubscribe from our newsletters and promotional emails at any time using the “unsubscribe” link in any email, or by contacting us at info@scrapbookexpo.com.

California residents. Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA), California residents have the right to request access to, deletion of, and correction of their personal information, and to know what categories of personal information we have collected and shared. We do not sell personal information for money. Our use of advertising tools like the Meta Pixel may be considered “sharing” for cross-context behavioral advertising under California law; you may opt out of this by using the browser/ad-platform controls described above, or by contacting us using the information in Section 12. To make any other CCPA/CPRA request, contact us using the information in Section 12 below; we will need to verify your identity before completing your request.

European/UK visitors. If you are located in the European Economic Area or United Kingdom, you have rights under the GDPR/UK GDPR to access, correct, delete, or restrict our use of your personal information, and to object to certain processing (such as marketing). Our legal basis for processing is generally your consent, our need to perform a contract with you (such as an order), or our legitimate business interests. Because we are a U.S. company, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the information in Section 12.

8. Children’s Privacy

Our Sites are intended for a general audience and are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 online. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can remove it.

9. Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect your personal information. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Our Sites may link to third-party websites, such as venue, hotel, or partner sites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites, and we encourage you to review their privacy policies.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last Updated” date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be posted on this page.
