July is coming soon and the 4th will be here before you know it! Do you need a fun idea for your table? Here is a great, delightful and inexpensive Americana centerpiece.
From Authentique’s great design team, Shellye McDaniel came up with this cute idea. Using their fun paper line “Pride Collection,” you can complete a charming look for your table.
To begin Shellye used two different sizes of lace around the dies by Lifestyle Crafts, and cut the shapes from desired patterned paper from Pride Collection.
Cut two shapes for each stick. To the back piece attach a paper straw with a fast-drying liquid glue. Next, add thick foam dots (same height or taller than the straw’s width) and attach the top round piece. Layer on various stickers and glitter chipboard stars.
Be sure and check out the dollar bins at Target. This cute red splattered pail came from there. Fill the pail with floral foam and arrange the straws as desired. Top with red paper shred or Spanish Moss. When the 4th of July arrives, you will be the talk of your party. Thank you Shellye McDaniel for sharing your wonderful inspiration with us today.
Creativity involves in breaking out of your traditional style. Take a look at your project in a different way, and never hesitate to try something new.
