Cherry Lemonade Slushie

Everyone loves a nice, cool glass of lemonade and your friends can think of you every time they make one up!   I would like to thank Jenn author of the Clean and Scentsible blog for allowing us to share this yummy summer drink with you today.

Cherry Lemonade Slushie

INGREDIENTS FOR CHERRY LEMONADE
  • 2 cups ice
  • 2 1/4 tbsp lemonade mix
  • 1 1/2 tbsp cherry mix
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 cup frozen raspberries
TO DO
To make your drink more slushie-style, blend up your ice first.  Did you know that the blender top will fit on a mason jar?  It makes it a little easier to clean up when you are only making a couple of drinks.

MATERIALS IF GIVING AS A GIFT

  • mason jars
  • bakers twine
  • tags
  • hole punch
  • cute metal basket

Add the drink mixes to one cup of cold water and mix. Add to the ice.

Add frozen raspberries and blend to desired consistently. If you don’t like raspberries, it works well without them too!  Makes 2 drinks.

The bottles are filled with lemonade crystals, some paper straws, and cherry Kool-Aid.  The details like the straws and tags make it look so sweet.

1Sit back and enjoy!

    Lorraine,

Today I finally made the connection between these posts and your name. We met at the Santa Clara Expo and my friend and I had lunch with you and your daughter. It was so nice meeting both of you. I am the foster mother who teaches life book classes and you said to contact you so here I am. Would love to hear back from you. Thank you.

    Kris
