Love this warm heartfelt card I discovered on the Real Life In Pictures blog. I’d like to send out a big “Thank You” to Karen for allowing us to share her beautiful design with you.
I love the little strips of paper that are shown on the heart. Karen cut across an ivory 8.5×11 sheet of card stock and then stamped the “i love you” sentiment several times. Karen then backed it with black cardstock, created a banner strip, and wrapped it around the heart.
Next, she stamped the little “love letter” envelope, colored the tiny red heart with a red copic pen and adhered it to the glimmer mist Silhouette heart! Dimensional squares popped it all up and then added some Maraschino baker’s twine from The Twinery through the Silhouette label! I love the bit of gold on the heart..and isn’t this designer paper by American Crafts so beautiful? Let’s not overlook the beautiful ivory scallop that’s a Silhouette die designed by Samantha Walker.
