There are so many incredible opportunities to let your imagination run wild in making cards and tags. This is one of those beautiful projects with motivation and inspiration. A big “Thank You” goes to Amelia Breytenbach for this wonderful inspiration. Be sure to visit her blog Stamped For The Occasion for many more of her gorgeous creations.
Using gold on a Christmas tag can really make the card elegant. Ameila embossed the deer in gold as well as the flourish on the back of the tag. Giving the image some dimension she stamped a second deer, cut it out and popped it up with mirror tape.
The tag shape was cut with “Radiant Rectangles” from Spellbinders Nestablities Majestic Elements die. (This shows the back of the tag).
Add beautiful flowers from Petaloo Canterbury Collection “Magnolia Blossoms”on top of white lace, and at the top of the tag. Then add wire pearls, and a bell to complete it.
The sentiment letters on the small label are peel off stickers.
Distressing the edges of the frame, tag, and edges of the seam binding with Tim Holtz distress ink “Vintage Photo,” will create a vintage look. I hope today filled you with some great ideas for making beautiful handmade tags.
Hope you have a fun and creative day crafting.
