Joyous Mini Album

So many times we ask ourselves what can I get “so and so” for Christmas? She has everything. I just want to give her something very meaningful. Mini Albums are the perfect gift for the holidays, and what a gift never to be forgotton! Who doesn’t love the gift of memories? When it comes to something meaningful, there is nothing more wonderful than to receive a mini album that you created yourself. Your gift will be cherished for years to come.

This mini album was created with the Collection “Joyous” from Authentique. Thank You to Eva Dobilas from the Authentique Design Team for sharing her adorable creation with us.

Eva first covered the tag with her main printed paper. She started die cutting some borders and layered them onto the paper. The focal point on the front is the Santa Claus image. The mini album has an oval opening so it was perfect to show off the Santa. Using kraft on white snowflakes from Maya Road, she created a cluster and die cut a pretty Spellbinders Poinsettia. She then added some pretty sentiments from the stamp icon sheet and from the puzzle pieces paper accents sheet.

On the mini album, there is a heart shape so Eva covered it with Ranger Red Crackle Paint. Once it dried, she added some black Gelato to it. For added dimension, Eva added a pretty Petaloo fabric flower to it with some Spellbinders Poinsettia leaves. As a final touch, she added a sentiment with red buttons.

Next create the backside. You can keep this more simple. Cover it with your main paper, and this main focal point will be the chalkboard-inspired sentiment label. Use the 12 x 12 statement accent sheet.

Using the Maya Road kraft on white snowflakes, create a cluster then add elements to it. The “Intent” 12 x 12 paper has all of the cute rulers on it and was perfect to create little banners to add to the cluster. Add a stamp diecut and sentiment from the “advent blocks” paper accents.

The next tag, cover again with your main paper and add a picture to it. Then add layered border dies.

Again adding another little cluster with the kraft on white snowflake, use a banner sentiment from the 12 x 12 “details” stickers sheet and pop on a cute Maya Road flower.

On the bottom of the tag, add another cluster again using the snowflake and layering another sticker sentiment. Layer it onto red paper and pop it up, then add a couple of green pearls to it.

This again is showcasing a sentiment label from the 12 x 12 “statements” accent sheet.

Add a cluster element both on the top and the bottom of the sentiment label. You can also add more rulers. These are perfect little embellishments.

The next tag has a picture applied to it again, so you will add another snowflake layered element using another banner sticker, ruler banner, sentiment sticker, and a Maya Road fabric flower.

Repeating again add snowflake cluster,a few more sentiment die cuts, and more ruler strips.

The last tag has another photo which was framed with the border die cuts and little rulers.

Using metal rings and adding May Arts ribbon will finish putting your album together. Here is what the mini album looks like when it is all done. You can leave spaces for pictures to be inserted, or finish it off with pictures for your gift. Either way it will be treasured.
