I discovered this beautiful Vintage Dictionary Art while surfing through Pinterest & knew I had found today’s inspiration. You can repurpose any book pages into works of art. This is one of those instant gratification projects. So fast and easy yet a real eye catcher.
There is something about newsprint that always catches my eye, add some black heat embossed images to any book page, a little distress ink and frame with a simple black frame. How simple, yet so very elegant. I can see several of these in a grouping going up my stairs. 🙂
I found a site on Etsy that has vintage dictionary pages for purchase or you can use what you have on hand. If it isn’t vintage make it look vintage. The possibilities are endless. How cute would it be to take one of your child’s favorite books, one that has already lost it’s cover & it’s already in pieces because it is so well loved? I think this project would be gorgeous in color or black & white.
My hope is to inspire you to be fearless when it comes to your creativity, to try new things ad most important to have fun!
Thanks for visiting and have a very creative day.
