The inspiration of this gorgeous card started with the colors. The Christmas Paper Collection 2014 from Our Daily Bread Designs has such wonderful colors and are showcased beautifully. Cathy McCauley amazes me with her beautiful creations! Her imagination and creativity have no bounds. Be sure to visit her blog Golden Inkspirations for more of her outstanding projects; I promise you will be so inspired.
Cathy stamped the sentiment on Neenah Solar Crest cardstock and then embossed with Swiss dots. Strips of paper were stitched to Smokey Shadow cardstock. A strip of embossed Solar Crest, stitched to a beautiful border, was popped up on top and a piece of twine was wrapped around it. The card then was mounted to a Smokey Shadow card base. Some Fancy Foliage flourish was placed diagonally across the horizontal strip. The large star was stamped and white embossing was added to Kraft cardstock and cut with the matching Sparkling Star Die. An Action Wobble spring was used to attach the star to the front of the card, making it jiggle when touched.
Don’t you just love the different color scheme? What a beautiful card to send to that special someone during this holiday season.
Thank you for your visit. Have a beautiful day!
