This layout is very inspiring, from the colors, to the sketch interpretation, to the amazing embellishments! I am all about vintage and this definitely has that beautiful vintage flare. Don’t you love all of the layers of collage papers, along with the dimensional flowers? The machine stitching adds that special touch to the layout. This layout is based on a sketch that can be adapted to fit any occasion. Just switch out the sentiment and paper to create your own fabulous layout.
Mona started her layout using the Shoreline Treasures collection from Pion Designs. To add some distress watercolor, she created the light blue layered blossoms using Tim Hotz Distress Watercolor Markers, along with Tim Holtz Watercolor paper. Next she took Heartfelt Creations stamps and coordinating Spellbinders Paper Arts dies. Using the distress watercolor technique, she colored the blueprint seashell.
Mona created a unique embellishment by taking a piece of wood in a bag of pot-pourri and used it as a banner topper.
For her sketch inspiration, she the used the Let’s Get Sketchy Week 4 sketch challenge. Sketches are such a wonderful way to get your creative mind started so you can complete your layout with your own wonderful inspiration..
Mona Pendleton is the very talented designer of this layout. I highly recommend you stop by Cupcake’s Creations Design for more outstanding projects.
