Do you love to layer papers for your background? This is one of those beautiful layouts with so many layers, textures and lots of fun embellishments. I just love all of the sweet details of this layout. Even though there are a lot of beautiful details and dimension to this layout, the photo is still the first thing your eye is drawn to. What a gratification project.
Here we have some close details of the wonderful embellishments.
You can see that Rachelle added some distressed layers, and adding some lace, cheesecloth and ribbon into her layers.
Rachelle used a spectrum Noir marker on the doily and the music notes.
On the rest of the chipboard she used picket fence crackle paint, and once that it dried she rubbed in some brown chalk and inked the edges giving it a very rustic vintage look.
Adding the ballet slippers, and flowers from Prima pulled out the images from the photo.
Rachelle is on the design team for Maja Designs. She is very creative so be sure to jump on over to her blog Little Embellishments Scrapbooking by Rachelle to see more of her wonderful inspirations. Hope you enjoyed today’s project. Thank you for stopping by. Have a wonderful creative day.
