Miracle Of Life

Did you know that Butterflies signify new life? This layout is so perfect to create for this time of year. This mixed media scrapbook page has a butterfly pattern incorporated into the background as a texture element, and I just love the fresh colors of Spring.

To create this layout Beck began by cutting and embossing the Butterflies Expandable out of pink cardstock.

She then cut/embossed the Butterflies out of Coconut cardstock expanding the pattern two more time so you have a piece that is 12 inches long. She cut out one of the butterlies so that you have one individual butterfly along with the larger piece.

Cut/emboss the ornate butterfly from the flutters die set twice so that you have one pink and one white butterfly.

Cut/emboss two of the Gold Majesty Circles dies nested together from the cream pattern paper and cut them in half.

Nest together #5 and #6 dies from the Matting Basics A, and cut/emboss with pink cardstock.

Cut/emboss a large size Bitty Blossom die from pink pattern paper. Create your flower and set aside.

Tear a 6 x 6 inch piec of green grid pattern paper, along with a banner piece and color with gelatos in metallic mint diluted in a little water.

Next you will color your chipboard word with Dew Drop Ink pad in Pixie Dust, add Metallic melts in Pink Sorbet. Next you will apply some of the Pixie Dust ink pad over the top.
