Today’s inspiration is a beautiful Shabby Chic Frame created by Olga Znamenskaya (Pastila). What a darling way to show off your photos, along with preserving them in such a beautiful way. The fine details combined with her priceless photo makes this double tiered frame so amazing. I would like to say Thank You to Olga for sharing today’s wonderful inspiration found on the Imaginarium Designs blog.
Pastila used a lot of different products to give it a lot of texture such as decoupage, texture sand, distressing with paraffin, painting, and one step crackle medium.
On the Alpha lettering she used her crackle paint and distressing.
Crackle medium effect was also used on the chipboard. It made it look so amazing!
Using a stencil she added a design around the heart using textured sand. This gave it a pretty texture to the heart. She added some pearls, along with a crystal hanging from the bottom of the second heart.
Pastila added clusters of flowers to give it that feminine touch with some berry sprays. Her birdcage was covered gold acrylic paint. To pull the to frames together she added some pink crinkled seam binding ribbon. You can see more of Pastila’s outstanding projects on her blog Smart and Beautiful. You will be so inspired by her talent.
Creativity involves in breaking out of your traditional style. Take a look at your projects in a different way, and never hesitate to try something new.
