Do you share my love of Mickey Mouse? He is sure to bring a smile to the young at heart. I love how Shelly McDaniel, author of the Papered Cottage Blog, has created a mini album for a special birthday boy who had a Mickey Mouse themed party. Mickey doesn’t always have to mean a trip to Disneyland. You really can’t go wrong with a Mickey Mouse Mini Album – what’s not to love?
Shelley created the album using the Top Dog Reflection Album 1 Die. The die cut itself measures 5/ 1/4″ X 11″ while the actual die board size is 6″ X 13 3/4″ X 5/8.” This is no petite die! Just think of the possibilities; it’s perfect for mini albums, a banner for a party, home décor, mixed media projects, and the list goes on.
I love how Shelley machine-stitched each photo mat throughout the album. Consistency is everything in a good mini.
All of the paper is from the must-have “Say Cheese” Collection by Simple Stories. A medium weight chipboard was used at the base of the pages and then covered with patterned paper. The gorgeous, double-sided polka dot ribbon is from May Arts.
Thanks for the visit and I hope that you have a very creative day!
