Don’t you love when you can use your stamps & scrapbook supplies in other crafty ways? This adorable Spring inspired coin purse is a perfect example. You’re going to love creating your own version of this little treasure. I’d like to send out a big thank you to Calypso for sharing her unique handmade purse with us today. Be sure to stop by her blog Calypso’s Cards & Creations anytime you need a burst of inspiration.
Calypso used the Inspired by Stamping stamp set to bring life & color to this sweet purse.
For the top of the purse she used Scallop Border Crochet Trim & Rose Seam Binding
How beautiful is the Spring Lilacs stamped & colored with Copic Markers. The script & the sparrow were stamped using Stazon: Timber Brown. The colored image is also stamped with Stazon:Timber Brown, but on Fabric Transfer paper. Calypso stamped the paper with the image and then ironed it onto the canvas. Once it cools remove the backing. Then color your image using Copic Markers.
I love how the script carries over to cover the back.
There was a lot of love put into this adorable coin purse. You can never have too many purses big or small, we love them all 🙂 Have fun stamping your unique one of a kind work of art.
My hope for you is to be fearless when it comes to your creativity, to be brave enough to try new techniques & most important have fun with your art.
