All the warm rich tones of this gorgeous layout designed by Rachael Funnell are what caught my eye. I highly recommend stopping by Rachael’s Blog A Window To My Scrapping World you will truly be inspired by her designs.
Rachael really has a gift when it comes to her beautiful backgrounds that often include lots of inky fun techniques, lots of stamping and on this layout she broke out the water colors. I love how Rachael created that dimensional look with very little bulk. The perfectly placed layers all come together flawlessly. Most important is that even though there is a lot going on, the photo is still the first thing that your eyes are drawn to. After all isn’t that why we scrapbook, to preserve & display those priceless memories..
Who says you need to spend a ton of money on your pages? I love how Rachael fussy cut & layered the main embellishments (the circles) from the March Hare Paper by Kaisercraft then carried them throughout the page.
You are going to love the gorgeous sheet of acetate from the Looking Glass Collection.
