Adding a bit of watercoloring to a layout, card, or project, creates so much “wow” and amps up the creativity level! Today I’m sharing five of my favorite layouts where I’ve included watercoloring.

One of my favorite techniques is to die cut a background, back the shapes with patterned paper, and then watercolor over the images – it really makes the colors of the papers pop!

On this layout I die cut fancy florals and then watercolored over them. I love how the water made the flowers bend up a bit to create dimension.

I watercolored a white background and then cut the title from the center. The words that were cut out could be used on a separate layout!

This is another example of die cutting then watercoloring over the cuts!
TOP KNOT by Paige Evans
Watercolor a rainbow across a cream cardstock background and then place like-colored embellishments on top!
Hope you’re inspired to give watercoloring a try – you’ll quickly become addicted!
