Hey everyone, Becki here, for another edition of Inspiration Station. Today I have a layout to share with you that is a little bit different than the layouts I’ve shared in the past.
I chose to work with the Pink Paislee Take Me Away collection, with a signature design from our very own Paige Evans. When I was choosing papers to work with I fell in love with a pastel cheveron/woodgrain pattern. I based the whole color scheme of the layout around this patterned paper.
I wish you could all see this layout in real life. It’s so pretty!! Because I was working with a pastel color scheme I printed my photos in black and white instead of color. The colors in the photo wouldn’t work with the products I chose. (My husband was wearing a navy sweatshirt and I was wearing a yellow sweater.)
Even though the photos are black and white they really pop against the pastel color scheme. I chose the pearl Thickers to create my title so that the large title wouldn’t overpower the photos.
I chose the embellishments for the same reason – I wanted the focus of the layout to be on the photos.
I created a process video to go along with this layout. You can find that video HERE, on my YouTube channel.
Thank you for stopping by today. Next week I have a Thanksgiving-themed layout to share with you along with a video tutorial. I’ll see you then. Have a great week!
LOVE this Becki!!
Awww…..Thank you, Paige!!! Thank you for designing such a beautiful collection 🙂
