Tell us a little bit about yourself and how you got started crafting: My name is Stefanie and I´m a wife, mommy of a 4-year-old girl, family photographer, and lover of summer. We are living in a small village in the southern part of Germany and I enjoy living here. I love the quietness and natural countryside. And for me, it’s the perfect place to be creative. After my daughter was born in 2012 I was looking for ideas to create albums about her first year and I found some great pages about scrapbooking. I was totally amazed by all those talented scrapbookers. I love to play with all the beautiful patterned papers, embellishments, and watercolors. My layouts, mini albums, and photos are mostly about my little girl, our travels, and the little moments in my life.

What do you love about this hobby? For me it is my passion. It includes my love for photography, painting, and playing with papers. I´m on the search all day long for new inspiration and ideas. It makes me happy to create new mini albums and layouts. But the best part is looking through my creations with family and sharing all the memories with them.

1. I love to to listen movie soundtracks during my scrapbooking sessions.
2. Tom Hanks is my favorite actor and I love any and all movies with him. Who doesn’t love Forrest Gump?
3. I like reading travel guides.
4. My daughter loves to make my hair beautiful with hair-slides and hair-clips. Once when I went to the super market with them in my hair people said to me, “What a nice hairstyle you have!”, haha. 🙂
5. I´m obsessed with sequins! You can find them on the most of my projects. I love them in all colors!

WONDERFUL DAY by Steffi Ried
I made a layout with my favorites – a layout with a full-size image, sewed lines, sequins, and some beautiful embellishments from the Take Me Away collection by Paige Evans. The photo is from our last vacation. We were in Greece/Crete. We enjoyed our time so much in this beautiful place. And while my husband and my daughter sat on the beach and spoke together, I took this picture.
AMPERSAND LAYOUT by Steffi Ried
This is definitely my favorite layout. The idea for the layout was to create a letter or another sign only with embellishments. First, I printed the quote on white cardstock. After that, I drew the ampersand with gold gelato and then the fun part started. 🙂 I chose all the buttons, sequins, enamel dots, stickers… and glued or sewed them on the &.
CALIFORNIA DREAMIN’ MINI ALBUM by Steffi Ried
This mini is one of my favorite albums. I had the idea of a bag filled with warm memories about our vacation to the USA, and because California is also one of my favorite places.
LOVE by Steffi Ried
For this layout I had a color combo in mind: peach/blush with black and white. First I created a moodboard with the colors and then started with the layout. The colors are very beautiful and dreamy – just like the photo of my little girl.
ADVENTURE by Steffi Ried
I like to create layouts with sunbeams. It´s a great design and you can make a lot of details with sequin pockets, journaling, and papers. For this layout I wrote about our trip to the Grand Canyon. It was an amazing adventure for us.
