Michelle Peard from Crafter’s Companion shares some fabulous shading tips by using a pencil blending technique. Coloring with pencils on the top of an image that has been colored with alcohol markers really gives added dimension and helps the image pop off the page.

I really enjoyed your tutorial on blending with baby oil on colored pencils. I loved the finished look of it and I’m going to try it sometime. Do you need to blot the extra oil off of the top. I would be afraid it would get on something or somewhere you don’t want it to go
