Happy Tuesday! As the holiday season approaches. I hope this post finds your heart full of joy. If you are like me, you are behind on your shopping, baking, wrapping, and so much more. It is all so exciting though, so I am okay with being behind and know that I will eventually figure it all out. This is one of my most favourite times of the year. I love the magic of the season. I love to see all the lights, the anticipation in children’s voices, the sounds of the season, and spending time visiting with family and friends. I am a believer. I believe in the magic of the season and the joy that fills my heart at this time of year. I also believe in sharing. I believe it is important to make someone’s day better. I believe that a single smile can cause a huge ripple effect for the better. I believe in giving back and paying it forward. I hope you will join me this Christmas season (and all year long) in spreading joy to someone who may need a special smile, a bite to eat, a warm drink, a hug, a toy to share with a child, you name it, anything goes. Let’s make the world a better place one tiny act at a time!
Over the last week, our Facebook groups have been hopping with excitement. This enthusiasm bubbled over as we announced that the 2018 show pages are now live on the website. These pages include details of the pre-registration dates, crop themes, exciting new programs, and so much more. We also had our first 2018 crop/hotel pre-registration that was a huge success! 2018 is going to be so much fun!
On Facebook, I like to interact with you and learn about each and every one of you. Not only do I share projects created by our team and others, but I also ask questions and share fun quotes. With almost 450 responses, I recently asked, “Yes or No: Do you send out Christmas cards every year?” It is always fun to read the response to the questions I ask. While we all have a love of this craft, we are also very different in how we look at our projects, how we spend our time, what we enjoy and dislike, and what makes us happy.
Many of you enjoyed these quotes and like me, you got a laugh out of them. They don’t have anything to do with scrapbooking but they provide for a chuckle during the day.

Some weeks the most popular projects are all cards while other weeks they are layouts or other fun crafts.

Pinterest is also very inspiring and I often find myself losing hours as I click on one project and then I keep clicking on more and more projects. There is so much to learn and see and save for later. You can find our current posts using the hashtags #ssbe2017 and #ssbe2018.
Many of the projects you see on our Facebook page we also pin to Pinterest. We also pin lots of other wonderful projects to get your creativity bubbling over.
I hope that you will join me in the EXPO Facebook Groups, on our Facebook page, and on Pinterest where I share with you my love of paper crafts and as well as all things Stamp & Scrapbook EXPO.
If you are not already in one (or more) of our Facebook Groups, be sure to join in as I will be hosting our first 2018 giveaways over the next couple weeks.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
See you in 2018!
